For the past 31 years, the L.D. Bell Blue Raider Band has taken to the street in a fantastic demonstration of musicianship, athletics, endurance and fun! Our yearly March-a-Thon was created as a way to promote the band in the community and to raise money for student band fees. The award-winning Blue Raider Band is one of the largest student groups at L.D. Bell with over 250 participants! We are proud to have you join us at at our 2024 event.

 

Alternating between neighborhoods in Hurst and Bedford, this year's March-a-Thon includes two community stand-still performances, as well as music, cheers, chants, and stand-stills along the way. Is the March-a-Thon in or near your area? Grab your camp chairs and join us anywhere along the parade route for a fantastic time!

This year's route (above) will be through neighborhoods near L.D. Bell, with a community performance stop at Bedford Junior High and will conclude at Bedford Heights Elementary. Join us for the 30th Annual March-a-Thon!
