This will be the first Band Booster Meeting for incoming sophomore parents and all current and returning parents. We will be discussing important matters concerning the end of this year and the 2013-14 school year. Please make every effort to attend. Hope to see you there!

The Region 5 UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest is Wednesday, April 17th at Haltom High School.
L.D. Bell performance times are:
3rd Band – 8:25am on-stage performance, 8:50 sight-reading.
2nd Band – 10:50am on-stage performance, 11:20 sight-reading.
1st Band – 2:25pm on-stage performance, 3:05 sight-reading.
Concerts & Sight-Readings are free and open to the public. As you are able, please come and enjoy these fine ensembles!

On Saturday, December 15th, L.D. Bell Band students competed in Phase II All-Region Auditions. Students performed excerpts from 3 etudes for 5 adjudicators in a “behind the curtain” audition. Possible achievement levels are “District,” “Region,” as well as certification to Area.
