March-a-Thon Student Fundraiser- Saturday, September 7

Our first major student fundraiser is the March-A-thon, coming up Saturday, September 7th. This is a VERY important fundraiser for students because 100% of the donations and pledges collected by a student go directly to that student’s individual account to pay off their band fee! We rely on band fees to charter buses for travel, pay for costuming and flags, feed the students at competitions, and so much more.

UIL Physical Requirement- due August 1

The UIL now requires a current physical for all students participating in marching band statewide. The HEB ISD physical form was sent home with students and is also attached to this email and available on the website. Many clinics offer low-cost or no-cost physicals. (Ask for a “sports physical”) In fact, CareNow offers $20 cash pay sports physicals through August 31 ( In addition, many insurance policies allow for a physical for no out-of-pocket cost. Chipotle Spirit Night- Tuesday, July 23 from 4-8 pm

Take the night off from cooking and dishes while helping the Blue Raider Band at the same time!!! On Tuesday, July 23, when you eat at Chipotle in Bedford (2100 Airport Freeway) between 4 and 8 pm, 33% of your total will be donated to the L.D. Bell Band. You must bring a copy of this flyer or show it on your phone.
